Freshman Shortstop at Purdue
• Lettered for coach Todd Evans at Valparaiso High School in Northwest Indiana
• Starting shortstop on varsity as a sophomore and senior (junior season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic)
• Pitched for VHS when needed as well, highlighted by a victory in which he earned the save on the mound by striking out the side on the same day he was 4-for-4 at the plate
• Also played for the Tri-State Arsenal Scout team and PRP Mambas for travel ball
• Tripled as part of a two-hit, two-RBI game in a sectional win as a senior
• Compiled a .462 OBP with 10 XBH, 26 walks and 25 runs as the PRP Mambas’ leadoff man and shortstop in the summer of 2021
• Tripled and homered in a playoff quarterfinal win for the PRP Mambas
• Finished his freshman season as a varsity call-up after being a standout on JV
• Also played varsity tennis as a sophomore, competing in both singles and doubles
