The beatitudes are common within Christianity. For the most part we can say they are character traits or virtues the we should have. What if the passage that starts the sermon on the mount is more than just character traits and virtues? In this episode we look at the phrase, "the poor in spirit." What does the poor in spirit mean? How does this relate to us and the community that surrounds us?
