Why does this team, with 6 first rounders, continue to give up 30+ points? When do we start seeing some accountability?
The Eagles could not be stopped unless they stopped themselves. If not for fumbling twice inside the 10 yard line, they could have scored 50+ points. AJ Brown once again dominated and Jalen Hurts could stand back and do whatever he wanted.
However, on offense the game plan changed. Instead of so many deep drop backs, the offense was focused on throwing quick slants, outs and screens. Sam Howell was super impressive save for the 2 turnovers deep in his own end. But you can’t say he wasn’t great the rest of the game. Jahan Dotson was impressive and bounced back from a rough couple of weeks. However, Terry had a couple of uncharacteristic drops to stymie the offense when they needed it the most.
In the end, it was more of the same. With a Tuesday trade deadline fast approaching, it will be an interesting week in Washington.
