He shepherds 2,000 acres of crops along California’s Central Coast, predominately strawberries. Part of his successful formula involves continuing his hunger to learn more about the best agronomy. “Being able to compete against myself, compete against previous years is crucial,” he said. “If I end up producing still more fruit, I still think I can learn something more from that.
