it’s “stand firm in one Spirit", and it isn’t just strive forward, it’s with ONE mind, striving side by side.
This Gospel Worthy Life is About unity. You can’t say “I’m over here, living the Gospel Worthy Life” without unity.
"I don’t need you"
"I don’t need the church"
Because you can’t say “I’m over here, in one spirit, by myself”, “I’m over here, united in one mind, and striving Side by side with myself”. And you also can’t say “I am in one mind, striving side by side with him… I just don’t like him” or “I am of one mind with her, we’re just not talking to each other”
It doesn’t work!
So here is the point as we round the corner into chapter 2,
The Gospel Worthy Life means a gospel worthy unity.
