Christianity alone holds the potential for the deepest possible type of any human relationship. Nothing else even comes close. A depth of relationship that is commonly available in family or friendship is naturally limited when it does not have Jesus at the center. Even those who have an uncommon bond through shared experiences still cannot touch what the Bible calls fellowship. Sadly, many Christians never experience fellowship either because it is not our default position. We end up in perpetually shallow relationships because we settle for what is familiar. In order to be able experience the supernatural power of biblical fellowship, we must unlock the door with the key of sharing our common faith and purposefully serving one another. This is a huge part of life in Christ that Jesus purchased with His blood. Right-ness with God produces the right-ness of God and results in right-ness with others. Good relationships with people flow from a good relationship with God.
