Episode Synopsis

Hope is a one of the greatest human needs and yet it remains elusive to us. We tend to connect hope to our physical, mental, or emotional circumstances. An external thing happens to us and this either empowers or evaporates our hope. Biblically, hope is actually a spiritual issue with physical, mental, and emotional ramifications. When we address hope from a spiritual perspective, it transcends circumstances because it is tied to the person and work of Jesus…and He never changes. Jesus is more than a good example, He is also our reason and power. This truth drives hope deep into the human heart because it is not up to us to manufacture His character, it is up to us to submit to His miraculous work to form His character within His people. When the character of God is developed in the people of God through the word of God it produces the hope of God.
