While your wedding day is a very significant day in your marriage, it is not the most important day...the last day is. How will your marriage end? If we do not think about this last day, then we run the risk of living for what feels best in the moment and that can have detrimental consequences. The choice to live for a good time, is simultaneously the choice to forfeit a good legacy. Adultery makes God's top 10 list because it violates the covenant of marriage through sexual sin. This has far greater consequences than just the physical, there is a mental/emotional consequence and a very heavy spiritual consequence as well. Marriage is a reflection of the deep, sacrificial love of Jesus for His church.
