Acts 17:16-33Athens was one of the cultural and intellectual centers of the Roman Empire. In Acts 17 we see the Apostle Paul go to this center and speak with power to the heart of the culture.UCI is one of the most influential cultural and intellectual centers in Orange County. For years Redeemer has talked and prayed about how to impact UCI, and now we are taking a huge step forward. Through the efforts of Redeemer and our presbytery, we are working to launch Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), the college ministry of our denomination, on the UCI campus.This Sunday Rev. John Stone, Assistant Coordinator of Reformed University Ministries, will join us for worship. John will preach from Acts 17:16-33 about Paul in the University. I will also interview John about RUF, its distinctives, and the impact RUF could have on UCI and Redeemer.I look forward to worshiping together.Pastor David
