From stranger to acquaintance to relationship, this is the pathway of being a neighbor. Last week we saw that Jesus completely rejects the mere notion that anyone could be considered a non-neighbor. By grace Jesus has become our neighbor and he now makes us gospel neighbors to those he has placed around us.One of the greatest obstacles to being good neighbors is our time. So much competes for our time. How can we find even one more minute to connect and deepen our relationships with our neighbors? We all feel that tension. Understanding and overcoming the obstacle of time in our neighboring will be our focus this Sunday.I hope you have prayerfully engaged with the block map assignment this week.
