James takes us through Psalm 23. This well known psalm tells the story of how God is our shepherd, but James makes an interesting point. Shepherds work with a flock of sheep, but this psalm reflects on our God having a personal relationship with each and every one of us - He shepherds us each individually and personally. He also points out that a sheep cannot survive without the shepherd's guidance and assistance - and it is the same with us - we do not survive well without God's shepherding of us.
