Jacob Perez is a songwriter living in Cincinnati, Ohio. Spending much of his childhood and teen years moving around the country has informed the artist's voice and songs. The COVID-19 pandemic found Perez furloughed from his day job and this season of extra time proved the most fruitful creative period of his life thus far. The batch of songs written during this period became the core of
his debut record, "Get Well," released in March of 2022. His earthy and contemplative Americana sound took further strides on his 2023 release "Signs" He'll be touring with songs from that album this year, and on
our next program he'll whet your whistle with a solo set, here on the Red Barn Radio stage.
