Through the lens of Africana philosophers such as Baldwin, Biko, and Césaire, I will address the effects of colonialism and the Church’s role in perpetrating it’s presence in Africa and North America. Further discussion of how the Gospel might be reimagined or understood it’s as it ought to have been, such that the black individual might be united with God once again.
