It was difficult to edit this one because every second and minute of the conversation counted for me personally. Sofia and I worked together as public schools teachers and since then had kept in touch as we chose to take different routes rooted on the same grounds of advocation for education and equality. This episode was great come back after taking break being overwhelmed with the disasters, pandemic and academic requirements along the way.
As much as I can, I will continue these conversations, with people that I know I could learn from and feel safe to share my uncertainties and open up my questions. After all, learning takes place in our the most uncomfortable situations and we can courage in asking and seeking answers.
