This week during "Recess Duty" we talk with author and speaker, Kimberly Mitchell. We discuss our learning journeys and what it is like to being a beginner in the learning process and how we should all put ourselves in that situation of learning new things.
Kimberly L. Mitchell is an internationally-recognized speaker on inquiry-based instruction, author of Experience Inquiry, and Founder of Inquiry Partners, an organization dedicated to supporting inquiry-based practices. She is a former PYP principal and IB Americas Regional Council Chair, currently on sabbatical from teaching at the University of Washington’s College of Education in Seattle. Kimberly received her MA in Education Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University and loves coffee, listening to podcasts while cooking and learning new things (currently: tap dancing).
