Jennifer Dukes Lee is the author of several books, including the forthcoming title Growing Slow, which releases May 11. She loves to write, embarrass her kids, and listen to 80's music.
"Jesus saved my life once upon a time, and then he kept doing it every single day since then," she writes on her website. "That’s why I am here: because of grace. I want to testify to his faithfulness and to make his great name known."
Her new book is all about cutting out the busy to embrace to rest. She and Mallory talk about the value of rest of doing things slow as well as what Scripture says about it.
"Jesus was never in a hurry," she says. "He never communicated an ethic of 'go big or go home.' He loves women. He empowers women, but it was not a 'Girl Boss' message."
