Rebinging Star Trek DS9: The Homecoming
We are back! And it's time for Season 2 episode 1: The Homecoming! We finished season 1 on a high note with 3 good episodes in a row; so how does season 1 start? Well it starts with the first of a 3-parter and some high-octane guest stars. We meet Minister Jaro played by Tony award winning actor Frank Langella and also Li Nalas played by Golden Globe nominated actor Richard Beymer. And we also get a name for the cafeteria: it's the replimat (this seems like a critical development).
Just whose homecoming is it?
In this episode, Kira and Miles are on a secret mission to rescue a Bajoran prisoner of war named Li Nalas. Li is revered as a war hero on Bajor and when Kira finds out he's still alive she feels he's the only one who can unite a fractured Bajor. Sisko agrees and this 3-part story is underway.
