Summary: We need to get away from what people are used to following and bring in something different. If the regime is collapsing and we’re on the Titanic, we need to start building lifeboats, not just go around telling people about how we need them. When they see we have what they need, it sets us up as leaders-- as those with resources and knowledge. They will join in. Seeing it being done is more convincing than being told it needs to. If we engineer a system that benefits people of all classes, where actions taken to benefit oneself also happen to benefit everyone else, people will want to join in.
