Brown skin Girl is one of the songs in Beyonces album "Lion King: The Gift" and it has been a hit so far and that song inspired this episode.
Colourism is a real issue in Nigeria as Light skinned people are seen as better than those of darker skin and get more attention in Nigeria. Of course it's not their fault but it has become a real issue in Nigeria and has led to many people to bleach their skin in order to be accepted in the society.
I have this conversation with my friend, female activist, future presenter and Leader Remi and we talk about the issue of colourism and how we can change our mindset in Nigeria.
