It's also putting a big strain on city resources — forcing cuts to services that Denverites depend on. This week on Real Talk with Denver 7 and CPR News — how the Mile High City is stepping up to help new immigrants — who’s feeling left out — and how nonprofits are filling the gaps.
This week’s guests include Paul Lopez, Denver’s clerk and recorder; Marielena Suarez, the executive director and co-founder of Papagayo; and Jamie Koehler Blanchard, the program director of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains.
