Nyakio is a first-generation American of Kenyan descent who used her grandma's Kenyan beauty secrets to help launch her own skincare company, "Nykaio," which is now sold online at Target and Ulta! Nyakio also works with Girls, Inc. to mentor young women of color, helping build them into strong, independent, and powerful women. Not only does Nyakio talk about her experience and success as Black female entrepreneur, but she shares her perspective on the current Black Lives Matter movement happening around the globe, diving deep into her personal experiences.
