Chris has lived and worked in West Auckland for most of his life, serving the Te Atatū community for 15 years as its Member of Parliament and as a government minister. Well known for his commitment to representing all constituents regardless of their political views. His priorities remain focused on being responsive to community concerns and ensuring residents receive fair and effective Council services. He is committed to revitalising the suburb of Henderson, Auckland and looks to address the challenges created by housing intensification, including traffic congestion and street parking issues.
