On the Day of Pentecost the Church was born and the Jews who heard Peter's message of faith in the resurrected Jesus, received it with joy and responded to it by being baptized. They then gathered together in a dynamic and loving community where many were able to resist Satan's attacks. However, when Satan began to bring physical persecution against the church many who were a part of that first Church were scattered throughout the known world. This didn't stop the church though, as satan intended, it actually released these people of faith to share Jesus in brand new places.
