Growing up between the lush forests of New York and the mossy lava fields of Iceland, Brynja has been immersed in nature spirituality since childhood. Brynja is a practitioner in spiritual philosophy. By apprenticing in topics of shamanism, ritual, human energetics, and nature-based spirituality she creates functional illustrated guidebooks based on her notes of the material she studies. Brynja works with mediums of art, writing, and personal sessions to, directly and indirectly, provide the subconscious and spirit with alternative tools. Her books and card decks are available on Etsy and Amazon and on her website Ceremoniance.com and she is probably best known in this community for her beautiful book on the Incarnation Crosses.
