*DEFINE MINISTRY SERIES*- While ministry within the church is an essential and important place that God is moving, He is certainly moving throughout our world in not so traditional ways. I'm highlighting the ministries of some very special women. Jesus was radical in how He ministered to people and often very unconventional. He saw the people who nobody saw, and displayed His heart for humanity without prejudice. I feel the ladies in this series are being the hands and feet of Jesus in some really unlikely places, to some unlikely people. I hope you are moved beyond the "box" to love and minister wherever and however God calls!
Today I'm interviewing my cousin about the ministry God has called her to in her community. After walking through some hard things the Lord gave her insight into how the body mind and emotions are all connected. She began to look for ways she could get out and move her body to stay healthy mentally and emotionally for her husband and kids.
She shares how she began "A Fresh Journey". A hiking group welcome to any level of hiker, who is looking for a safe place to land and be while getting out and moving their bodies. God has Blessed it and she shares how she has seen His hand throughout the process!
