Episode Synopsis
Victoria only meant to ask her father-in-law a question. She knocks, waits, and hears a knock back—playful, human. Except he isn’t in the room. He’s walking in from the garage on the far side of the house.
Years earlier, the same man faced something darker. Soda cans crashed in the night, children whispered to invisible friends, and a little girl’s mattress shoved itself off the frame. When they finally moved out, a neighbor told him the truth: a teenage girl had been murdered in that very room. Alone a few nights later, he woke to the sound of breathing beside his bed—followed by one word that sent him running.
Elsewhere, two girls press their faces to the dusty window of an abandoned home, daring each other to look inside. Then come the piano notes—two clear tones from a house that should be silent. And miles away, a mother watches her daughter speak to spirits she can name, people long dead but somehow still present.
