Episode 80 - Behind The Music
This week is special for me for a few reasons. First, Phil came up with the subject matter based on something he was really dealing with and that passion makes me proud of him. Secondly, this is a subject that is near and dear to both (Forrest & Philip) of our hearts...music. We talk about praise and worship and the misconceptions of it's purpose in our lives as believers, the misuse of it in the church and the miseducation the musicians, worship leaders, pastors and parishoners have to what the "move of God" is and should be. Moving the crowd isn't the move of God...Or is it? This is required listening for those who want to understand and be challenged on what music is in relation to praise and worship. Enjoy.
