Sarah Immonem Ward is on the #ReadingWithYourKids #Podcast to celebrate her debut picture book Our NICU Journey. All three of Sarah's children spent the first days, and in some cases months, of their lives in a NICU (Neonatal intensive care unit). Sarah tells us she published this book encourage NICU families and promote reading to newborns. She tells us of the many  benefits of reading to newborns, and the importance of giving back. She wants kids who have spent time in a NICU to know they were born fighters.
