In this episode, we read about the death of Aaron which took place the first day of the fifth month in the 40th year of the children of Israel’s journey and you can find that in Numbers Chapter 33 :38. We also see in chapter 21 a lot of the victories the children of Israel had as well as a notable incident when a bronze snake had to be used to heal the people because of their complaining. God sent poisonous snakes to bite the children of Israel, and a lot of them died. Moses prayed to God and God told Moses to have the people look at a bronze snake that Moses was to make, and everyone that looked at the snake would be free from the snake bites, and the venom will leave their body. Well, this was a type for us of the gospel of Jesus Christ, being raised on the cross becoming sin for us, taking on our judgment so that if we just look upon him, we will be free from the penalty of sin. Jesus Christ has set us free all we have to do is accept him into our hearts.
