Episode Synopsis

In this episode we talked about the last three feasts God told the Children of Israel to observe, the feast of trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the feast of Tabernacles. They blew the trumpets all day to mark the beginning of a 10 consecration as the prepared for the Day of Atonement. The blowing of the trumpet is believed to represent the rapture for us. The Day of Atonement (explained fully in Leviticus Chapter 16) was the one day each year when all the sins of the past year was atoned for (was forgiven). The day of Atonement is believed to represent Judgement Day and the Second Coming of Christ. The Feast of Tabernacles lasted 7 days and required the Children of Israel to make shelters made from tree branches in remembrance of the 40 years they were in the wilderness. This Feast reminds us about how God longs to live among us. We see this in the Tabernacle He had Moses build which made a place for God to dwell in the middle of the camp in the most holy place in that tabernacle. God showed us His desire to live among us when He sent Jesus to the Earth. Also after Jesus left, He sent the Holy Spirit to live among us and within us. And we wait patiently for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord. Living with God forever.
