We talked about the death of Abraham. We talked about the fact that the Bible says Abraham was gathered to his people. We read a number of scriptures stating that when the patriarchs died, they were gathered to their people. We discussed that the commentators say this wording gives proof of the afterlife. We read the story in Luke 16:19 about the rich man and Lazarus. We stressed that we want to repent of our sins now and turn to God because once we die, it will be too late.
