Today you're being reminded that you do make a difference. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you are faced with challenges in your own life. It's even easier to think you can't make a difference when you look further afield and look at what's going on around you, in your own community, your country and the world. Yet even the smallest actions can make a difference. You will never know how many people, and the choices they then go on to make, are impacted by the ripples of your actions. Speaking your truth even if your knees are knocking with nerves. Standing up for, or with, another. You never know who you will inspire to do the same. Even when you know that you can't possibly save the world, although I wouldn't want to limit you!, you can, and you do, make a difference. And when everyone makes even the smallest of differences, you not only change lives, the ripple effects of those actions can, and will, change the world. Maybe you can offer some support to a friend, surprise someone with a thoughtful gesture, a hand-written card. Donate to your favourite charity, amplify a voice or the work of someone you believe in.
