We also have an update on the Rays stadium saga, after the St. Petersburg City Council approved the issuance of bonds for the Historic Gas Plant District redevelopment in their last meeting, and the Pinellas County Commission seems poised to do the same when they reconvene. The ball is now back in the Rays' court, but this seems like a step in the right direction for the stadium deal to go forward as agreed.
