Listen "Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – Oct. 3, 2021"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
Do you know who this fellow is? He’s “Oklahoma’s Yodeling Cowboy,” Gene Autry. His is one of four birthdays we’ll be celebrating on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records, the others being Manuel Romain, Harry S. Black and Harry Raderman. And in the final segment of the show we’ll have a merry ol’ time. And always remember the #1 rule of Gene Autry’s Cowboy Code: “The Cowboy must never shoot first, hit a smaller man, or take unfair advantage.” There’s lots of great music and interesting information on this week’s show, so set aside an hour to relax over your favorite beverage and be taken back in time to a different (and we think better!) musical era.
ENJOY THE SHOW!
