Listen "Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – May 29, 2022"

Episode Synopsis

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
Do you know who this fellow is? He’s composer, conductor and musical director Robert Hood Bowers. A couple of years ago he had his own birthday segment in which we played three of his compositions. This time, in addition to one more of Bowers’ tunes, you’ll hear him in a couple of other musical roles. In other segments, we’ll do some moaning, try to bring some more reason to the world and play “One Thing In Common.” In the final segment, Harry E. Humphrey will give a recitation for Memorial Day.  There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to a different–and we thing better–musical era.
ENJOY THE SHOW!
