Many professionals in today's workplace started their career at a time when you drove hard and didn't question the number of hours worked in a day. Yet, other professionals have come into their careers knowing that while they may love their work, they have standards and boundaries around when and how work gets done. In today's episode, Marcelle Yeager gives us practical ideas and actions we can use to set realistic boundaries and expectations with our colleagues and even our boss.  Before starting her career development-focused company, Marcelle Yeager worked in strategic communications at APCO Worldwide, a Washington, D.C. public affairs firm and Booz Allen Hamilton, in addition to the Department of Defense and the Department of State. She launched Career Valet in 2012, which helps professionals reshape their narratives to get them into a job they love. For 3.5 years, she simultaneously ran ServingTalent, a boutique recruiting firm for top U.S. military and diplomat (foreign service) spouses. Marcelle holds an MBA from the University of Maryland College Park and a BA from Georgetown University. She is a former weekly contributor to the U.S. News and World Report On Careers blog, ClearanceJobs.com, and has been featured in various publications including MONEY Magazine, Monster, and FlexJobs.  www.randstadrisesmart.com https://www.careervalet.com/ https://www.careervalet.com/team
