In a follow up segment to Leon Harris' interview about his time playing baseball with The Kansas City Monarchs of The Negro League, Leon discusses his life post professional baseball. He relates his time as the prison athletic director in a facility for male juveniles, what that taught him about poverty, family and crime, how he was led to become a labor organizer and civil rights activist including his time in the 1970's as the President of the Greenwich Village, NY NAACP. During his presidency the chapter took stands against The Vietnam War and South African Apartheid while increasing membership by 1000%.
