Doctor Mal-Practice and Nurse Epi-Pen spoke about the Pituitary Gland on this week's episode with help from a surgeon, pathologist and patient to discuss what the gland is and what can go awry with the gland itself. Firstly they spoke to Jo about her own experience with her own Pituitary Gland producing excessive Human Growth Hormone due to a growth. Catriona McLean, a neurological pathologist and director of the Victorian Brain Bank, as well as surgeon Nicky Martin also discuss the tiny gland so vital to our brains.
