*Public Unconcerned with Proper Registration, But GPS Cronies Fear Property Exposure*
Sarawak Premier Johari Openg said that the information requested by PADU was too detailed to cause public concern. That is why the Sarawak government has requested that the registration of PADU in Sarawak be postponed.
Iswardy questioned Johari's statement that PADU only asked for 9 basic information, namely basic information of the individual, household, address, job, education, income, commitment, assistance and finally the certificate. Padu asks for individual bank acc no so that cash aid can be credited directly to the aid recipient's account.
The government aid scheme has also asked for the acc number of the recipient. If this is questioned by the Sarawak government, SarawakPay also requests the same information. Why does the Sarawak government agree with SarawakPay's actions but oppose PADU?
