Terdapat dua agenda penting hari ini, satu pemilihan speaker, dengan Hanifah tidak hadir, Johari Abdul menmenangi jawatan speaker dengan hampir dua pertiga daripada 147 undi. Yang kedua ialah undi percaya.
Undi percaya adalah sangat penting. Pertama, ia adalah untuk memberi keyakinan kepada rakyat bahawa perdana menteri mendapat sokongan majoriti, dan kerajaan stabil. Kedua, untuk menyekat mulut parti pembangkang. Akhirnya usul percaya Anwar berjaya melalui undian suara.
Ini adalah usul penting. Jika tidak ada undi percaya, maka parti pembangkang akan mengadakan persoalan “Anwar tak cukup sokong”.
