Jenny was born and bred in London of Anglo-Indian heritage, growing up in the London youth culture of music, clubbing and fashion. However, overtime she became more interested in discovering her Indian heritage, particularly though her mother’s illness.
When her mother passed away, she felt called to go India to connect with her Indian family and the culture of Indian.She went to India where she was mesmerised by the warmth of the people and the beauty of the country. She also loved the Indian fabrics so colourful and of such quality, they inspired her to create range of unique East meets West fashion designs.
In India she met with clothes designers, seamstresses and fabric suppliers; then decided to make a glamour range of clothes using vintage premier saris of near perfect condition to recycle the memories of their previous life.
These saris would have been worn for Holy ceremonies, weddings or other special celebrations. The best quality silks of vibrant colours and traditional patterns are used to give client the unique feel of India.
Each garment has a signature feature of small Indian bells and coins which jingles with movement.
Using the vintage Sari’s guarantee that only one fabric will ever be used in each design.
