As Jesus walked up to Jerusalem to begin the sacred events of the Passion Week, He told His disciples that they were Going Up to Jerusalem. This going up was more than a physical ascend, but a spiritual one that would usher in a new covenant for all people. The call for us is to go up; when we are facing obstacles, we set our eyes on higher things.
