On February 4, 2025, a deadly mass shooting occurred at the Campus Risbergska adult education center in Örebro, Sweden. Approximately ten people were killed, including a 35-year-old male attacker, and at least five others were injured. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson described the incident as the worst shooting in Swedish history. The incident does not appear to be terrorism-related, but an investigation is ongoing.
