This week on the Racing Nuggets Podcast with PJ and Dan, we catch up with Sportsmen racer, Dave Trute who is preparing to make the trek down to South Carolina again to run at Dillon Motor Speedway in South Carolina. Several other Sportsmen drivers from the Midwest will join the caravan to the southeast to run in the New Year's Bash event on January 6-8, 2023. Trute shares some fun backstories from his career, how he landed on his number (2), growing up racing at Tomah-Sparta Speedway when his parents owned that track, past trips down to South Carolina, his core group of guys, and some of his other adventures at other events, like Oktoberfest at La Crosse Speedway.
