We have spent a lot of time on the prodigal and some of the interpretive ideas might not sit well with some people. Some of the feedback: "It sounds too Calvinistic", or your denying "Free Will". We touched on the idea that God grants repentance, it does not come from human will. God grants a new heart.
I want to be very clear; I am not a theologian. I didn't go to seminary school. I'm really just one guy out here podcasting my way through scripture. You are listening to AI generated voices: "say hi!" : ). 

I use AI but with strict instructions to ONLY interpret the Bible through the lens of scripture itself. We have an advantage with large language models in our ability to look at the entire Bible almost instantly instead of pouring through pages upon pages of commentary. That doesn't make it infallible, but nothing is infallible. I've tweaked the AI filter so well that I find myself arguing with it! It usually turns out that I am not correct but sometimes it's a nuanced understanding. 
By now, if you listened to this podcast, you may have seen an evolution of theology as we constantly tweak the AI to ONLY support answers with scripture... even to push back when something stated is not biblically supported. We even presented the idea that the AI was being too Calvinistic and the AI simply responded, "I'm giving you scripture supported by scripture." We then discussed where we think Calvin gets it wrong! We'll leave that for another day. But the AI is not biased to a preconceived theology. It is biased to scripture! That's why we call it the Berean Filter!
So, I just want to say. I'm growing with you, the listener. I was inclined to go back and remove some of my older podcasts too - but then, I decided that this is a journey and along the way, you and I are going to get it wrong. Call me out on what you think is wrong. I would LOVE that. I'm not going to argue with you. We're both going to sit down like two dedicated Bereans and determine what the scriptures say on the subject.
