How do you deal with errors made by others and yourself? Things that will tarnish your reputation? Do you do anything to correct them or do you say, "it is what it is" after all it was not my mistake. That kind of attitude is the wrong approach in life. Yes they are not your mistakes but your character, reputation or band is at stake.

I would recommend that you do all you can in your best way to correct those mistakes. What about when you make mistakes? How do you handle? Do you redo or correct until it is prefect in your eyes? I think you should. Own those mistakes and do everything in your power to correct them, even if you have to redo the task several times. Repetition brings about perfection.

Don't let things that you can correct hurt your brand or ruin your reputation. We are all running some kind of business, if you do not own a business, true to the meaning known to all, you are running a business of YOU. Service Management is key in building that brand.
