In this episode, Dhruv, Sanjeet, Aryan, and Amartya take on the never-ending Art vs. Artist debate fueled by the breaking news of two widely respected international auteurs - Asghar Farhadi and Sian Sono - being charged for two very different offenses. Discussing the severity of the charges leveled at these filmmakers, they get into unsolvable debates about the fine line between plagiarism and inspiration, the inseparability of auteurist art from the artist, and the dynamic role of the spectator.

Plenty of other (in some cases, infinitely more) controversial directors and their works are referenced here not to promote them or their work but to engage in a healthy debate that is hopefully productive in promoting healthy discourse.
