The cultural mandate was given to family in Genesis chapter one. We were given dominion and the Lord brought creation to Adam, “to see what He would call them.” Dr. Jonny explains that, through Jesus, our dominion has been restored, and it is the kind of authority that enables creation to develop and open up as it should. We have the power to release blessings (or curses) over our family, co-workers, politicians, or anyone of the thousands of opportunities He bring us in a lifetime and waits to see what we will name them.
