Many in this nation are feeling injustice or feeling unheard. This creates feelings of pain, anger and judgment. Jesus, however, flipped everything upside down and called for a higher way of living, where mercy triumphs over judgment. Dr. Jonny calls for one of the hardest things any Christian has to do…to forgive and show mercy. Mercy is not a passive word, it is not giving up, shutting up or cowering. Rather, mercy is a strategy, called the “law of liberty,” when enacted through honor, brings real change and healing to our culture.
