Forgiveness is one of the most powerful and necessary act as a Christian, but is it possible that we have gone about it all wrong? Dr. Jonny explains that we have confused forgiving a debt with settling a debt. We wait until our offender is sorry and our debt is settled. However, Jesus was clear that forgiving a debt is independent from another’s repentance and directly connected to the forgiveness we receive from the Father.
